The Alentejo
is rich in hidden, real natural paradises

The Herdade do Peral estate is one such example. Located on the right bank of the River Degebe, it is bordered over nearly 6 km by the reservoir of the Alqueva Dam. Forestry and extensive livestock farming, associated with hunting and nature tourism, represent an important resource due to the proximity to Europe’s largest artificial lake. This area, with its rich biodiversity and unique features, provides the hunter who visits us with evasion moments and unforgettable chases of countless species of large and small game populating the Hunting Zone.

The estate has a 34 km perimeter fenced with hunting net. It is delimited to the east by the River Degebe and to the west by National Road 118, which connects Évora to Beja. Access is greatly facilitated by its proximity to Beja airport, located about 60 km away. The car journey from Lisbon is on modern roads and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
